Terms and conditions of appointment

12C. Terms and conditions of appointment



(1) A director of VLA shall be appointed for such term as is specified in the
instrument of appointment, not exceeding-

   (a)  5 years in the case of the managing director; and

   (b)  3 years in any other case.

(2) A director of VLA is eligible for re-appointment.

(3) A director of VLA (other than the managing director) holds office, subject
to this Part, on such terms and conditions as are specified in the instrument
of appointment.

(4) A director of VLA holds office-

   (a)  on a full-time basis in the case of the managing director; and

   (b)  on a part-time basis in any other case.
