Crown grants and leases to be dated

26. Crown grants and leases to be dated

Notwithstanding any law or usage to the contrary, every Crown grant and lease
hereafter issued shall bear the date on which the person named therein as
grantee or lessee respectively first became entitled to such grant or lease,
and the registration thereof under the Transfer of Land Act 1958 shall be
deemed to be an enrolment of record thereof, and such enrolment shall relate
back to the date of the grant or lease.
