Notice of intention to grant lease or licence

133G. Notice of intention to grant lease or licence



(1) Before granting a lease or licence under this Division, the person
granting the lease or licence must ensure that a notice of intention to grant
that lease or licence is published in a newspaper circulating in the area
where the land to be leased or licensed is located.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a grant to a person of a lease or licence
over land held by that person under a lease or a licence under the
Land Act 1958 or a corresponding previous enactment immediately before the
commencement of this section.
