Period of licence

130AA. Period of licence



(1) The period of a licence granted under section 130 must not exceed-

   (a)  in the case of a licence relating to a water frontage, 35 years from
        the date it is granted; or

   (b)  in the case of any other licence, 99 years from the date it is
        granted.

(2) If a licence contains options for renewal of the licence by the licensee,
the aggregate of the original period and the further period or periods must
not exceed the maximum period permitted under subsection (1)(a) or (b) (as the
case requires).
