Proof of service

87. Proof of service



(1) The production of a certificate signed by the Juries Commissioner or a
Deputy Juries Commissioner that a questionnaire or a summons has been posted
or otherwise dispatched to a person is proof, in the absence of evidence to
the contrary, that the questionnaire or summons, as the case requires, has
been delivered at the address of the person named in the questionnaire or
summons.

(2) If a questionnaire or summons is served by post, the certificate referred
to in subsection (1) or other evidence of service must identify the
questionnaire or summons served and state the date and place of posting.
