82. Impersonation of jurors and extra payment for jury service

The court may in a summary way impose a fine not exceeding 120 penalty units,
or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months, on a person who-

   (a)  impersonates or attempts to impersonate another person for the purpose
        of jury service as that other person; or

   (b)  receives any payment from-

   (i)  a party to a proceeding; or

   (ii) any other person- for their attendance for jury service, except as
        provided for by or under this Act.
