Supply of false or misleading information

80. Supply of false or misleading information

The court may in a summary way impose a fine not exceeding 30 penalty units
(or, in the case of a body corporate, not exceeding 150 penalty units) on a
person who causes or permits any representation, whether by act or omission,
that the person knows to be false or misleading in a material respect to be
made to the Juries Commissioner or the court on the person's behalf or on
behalf of another person, for the purpose of evading jury service.
