Ban on certain procedures

46. Ban on certain procedures



(1) A person must not carry out a treatment procedure-

   (a)  using sperm produced by more than one person or oocytes produced by
        more than one person; or

   (b)  in which more than one embryo is used if the gametes from which each
        embryo is formed are not produced by the same two people.

Penalty: 240 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment or both.
