63. Other reports



(1) In addition to the report of operations under Part 7 of the
Financial Management Act 1994, the Privacy Commissioner may report to the
Minister on any act or practice that the Privacy Commissioner considers to be
an interference with the privacy of an individual, whether or not a complaint
has been made under section 25(1).

(2) The Minister may cause a copy of a report referred to in subsection (1) to
be laid before each House of the Parliament.

(3) The Privacy Commissioner may from time to time, in the public interest,
publish reports and recommendations relating generally to the Privacy
Commissioner's functions under this Act or to any matter investigated by the
Privacy Commissioner, whether or not the matters to be dealt with in any such
report have been the subject of a report to the Minister.
