References to the Sovereign

46. References to the Sovereign

In an Act or subordinate instrument a reference to the Sovereign reigning at
the time of the passing of the Act or making of the subordinate instrument
shall, unless the contrary intention appears, be construed as a reference to
the Sovereign for the time being.
