Person arrested under infringement warrant may be bailed

83. Person arrested under infringement warrant may be bailed



(1) The person to whom an infringement warrant against a natural person
(including a director to whom a declaration under section 91 applies) is
directed must cause the person named or described in the infringement warrant,
when arrested-

   (a)  to be brought before the Court within 24 hours of being arrested to be
        dealt with according to law; or

   (b)  to be released on bail in accordance with the endorsement on the
        infringement warrant; or



   (c)  to be released on a community work permit in accordance with Part 12
        or otherwise dealt with under that Part.

(2) A person arrested on an infringement warrant may be discharged from
custody on bail under section 10 of the Bail Act 1977.
