PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purposes

1. Purposes

The main purposes of this Act are-

   (a)  to provide for a new framework for the issuing and serving of
        infringement notices for offences and the enforcement of infringement
        notices;

   (b)  to amend the Magistrates' Court Act 1989, the Road Safety Act 1986 and
        the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
