One writ may be issued against all the parties to a bill

9. One writ may be issued against all the parties to a bill

The holder of any bill may if he thinks fit issue one writ according to this
Part against all or any number of the parties to such bill; and such writ
shall be the commencement of a proceeding or proceedings against the parties
therein named respectively; and all subsequent proceedings against such
respective parties shall be in like manner (so far as may be) as if separate
writs had been issued.
