INSTRUMENTS ACT 1958 - SECT 26
Life insurance contractsA contract of life insurance upon the life of any person, whether entered into before or after the commencement of this Act, shall not be void or voidable merely on the ground that such person after the commencement of the Instruments (Insurance Contracts) Act 1939 died by his own hand or act, if upon the true construction of the contract the insurer has thereby agreed to pay the sum assured in the events that have happened.
