Designated officer

4. Designated officer



(1) The person, persons or body having the control and management of a
hospital may, by instrument in writing, appoint such registered medical
practitioners as the person, persons or body considers or consider necessary
to be, for the purposes of this Act, designated officers for that hospital.

(2) The power under this section to appoint a person as a designated officer
includes the power, by instrument in writing, to remove a person so appointed.
