Effect of authority under this Part
34. Effect of authority under this Part
(1) An authority under this Part is sufficient authority for the removal of
the body of the deceased person to a school of anatomy for its acceptance by
the school of anatomy and for its retention and use, subject to the
regulations (if any) made for the purposes of section 37, by the school of
anatomy for a purpose referred to in paragraph (c) or (d) of section 32(1).
(2) In subsection (1) school of anatomy means-
(a) a school of anatomy the conduct of which is authorized under this Act;
(b) a place that is, by virtue of section 35(4), to be deemed to be a
school of anatomy for the purposes of this Act and the regulations; or
(c) a school of anatomy established or licensed under a law of the
Commonwealth, of another State or of a Territory.
