Consents to removal of blood from children

22. Consents to removal of blood from children

A parent of a child may consent in writing to the removal of blood from the
body of the child for a purpose referred to in section 21 if-

   (a)  the registered medical practitioner advises that the removal is not
        likely to be prejudicial to the health of the child; and



   (b)  the child agrees to the removal.
