Consent of adults to removal of blood

21. Consent of adults to removal of blood

A person, not being a child, may consent to the removal of blood from his
body-

   (a)  for the purpose of a blood transfusion to another person; or

   (b)  for the purpose of using the blood or any of its constituents for
        other therapeutic purposes or for medical or scientific purposes.
