Effect of consent under section 8

11. Effect of consent under section 8

Subject to section 12, a document that purports to be a consent given in
accordance with section 8 is, where a certificate has been given in accordance
with section 9 in relation to that consent, sufficient authority for a
registered medical practitioner, other than the registered medical
practitioner who gave the certificate, to remove, at any time after the
expiration of 24 hours from the time specified in the consent to be the time
at which the consent was given, the non-regenerative tissue specified in the
consent for the purpose of the transplantation of the tissue to the body of
another living person.
