Chief executive officer

25. Chief executive officer



(1) Each registered funded agency must appoint a person as the chief executive
officer (by whatever name called) and must cause any vacancy in the office of
chief executive officer to be filled as soon as possible.

(2) A registered funded agency must not appoint a person as chief executive
officer unless-

   (a)  the appointment of that person is approved by the Secretary; and

   (b)  in the case of a public hospital, the remuneration of the chief
        executive officer and the terms and conditions of his or her
        appointment are approved by the Secretary.
