When does an organisation hold health information?

5. When does an organisation hold health information?

For the purposes of this Act, an organisation holds health information if the
information is contained in a document that is in the possession or under the
control of the organisation, whether alone or jointly with other persons or
bodies, irrespective of where the document is situated, whether in or outside
Victoria.
