Performance assessments required by a panel

58. Performance assessments required by a panel



(1) If a panel established under this Act requires a health practitioner to
undergo a performance assessment, the health practitioner must be assessed by
one or two registered health practitioners who are appointed by the panel.

(2) The responsible board must pay for the assessment.

(3) An assessing health practitioner must give a report of his or her
assessment to the panel.

(4) The panel may discuss the report with the health practitioner and, in the
case of an adverse finding in the report, the possible ways of dealing with
that finding.
