Health assessments required by a panel

54. Health assessments required by a panel



(1) If a panel established under this Act requires a health practitioner or
student to undergo a health assessment, the health practitioner or student
must be assessed by a registered health practitioner who is appointed by the
panel.

(2) The responsible board must pay for the assessment.

(3) The assessing health practitioner must give a report of his or her
assessment to the panel.

(4) The panel may discuss the report with the health practitioner or student,
and, in the case of an adverse finding in the report, the possible ways of
dealing with that finding.
