Investigations without notification

47. Investigations without notification



(1) A responsible board may investigate a matter relating to a health
practitioner without a notification if the responsible board believes that
there is evidence of any of the matters referred to in section 42(1).





(2) A responsible board may investigate a matter relating to a student without
a notification if the responsible board believes that there is evidence of any
of the matters referred to in section 42(2).

(3) A responsible board may investigate a matter relating to a health
practitioner or student even though a notification about the matter has been
withdrawn.
