Immunity of health practitioners

37. Immunity of health practitioners



(1) A medical practitioner is not subject to any civil or criminal liability
for making a report under section 36, if the report is made in good faith.

(2) A registered health practitioner in a working or treating relationship
with another registered health practitioner or a registered student is not
subject to any civil liability for reporting to the responsible board that he
or she believes that the other registered health practitioner or the student
to be incapacitated, if the report is made in good faith.
