Use of certificate as evidence

32. Use of certificate as evidence

A certificate purporting to be signed by the President or any two members of a
responsible board certifying-

   (a)  any matter relating to the contents of the register kept by the
        responsible board as at that date; or

   (b)  that any disciplinary or other action is or is not or was or was not,
        at any specified date, being taken by the responsible board against a
        health practitioner or student registered by the responsible board
        under this Act-

is evidence, and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof of the
matters stated in it.
