Notice to owner

51. Notice to owner



(1) The Executive Director must give written notice without delay and within 7
days to the owner of a place or object of-

   (a)  any decision of the Heritage Council in relation to that place or
        object under Division 3; and

   (b)  any works or activities which the Heritage Council has determined
        under Division 3 may be carried out in relation to the place or object
        without a permit under Part 4.

(2) In the case of-

   (a)  a place which is a government building or government land; or

   (b)  an object which is in or on a government building or government land-

the Executive Director must give the notice required under subsection (1) to a
Minister or any other person or body of persons (whether corporate or
unincorporate) responsible for the care, management or control of that
building or land.
