Notice of registration

46. Notice of registration



(1) The Executive Director must publish notice in the Government Gazette of
the making of a determination under this Part that a place or object be
included in the Heritage Register.

(2) On publication of the notice in the Government Gazette, the place or
object is added to the Heritage Register.

(3) The notice must specify the category or categories of the Heritage
Register or the item of the Heritage Register to which the place or object is
added.

(4) The notice must include sufficient information to provide reasonable
identification of the place or object.

(5) Despite subsection (4), the Heritage Council may determine that some
details of identification should not be included in the notice if it believes
that if the details were known, there is a real danger that a person may
remove or damage the object or damage the place.
