Notice of intention to sell registered place or object

52. Notice of intention to sell registered place or object



(1) The owner of a registered place or registered object who enters into a
contract of sale of the whole or any part of that place or object must notify
the Executive Director in writing of the prescribed information about the
existence of that contract within 28 days of the date of the contract.

Penalty: In the case of a natural person: 60 penalty units; In the case of a
body corporate: 120 penalty units.

(2) Nothing in this section applies to the remains of a ship or article
associated with a ship to which Part 5 applies.
