Consultation and advice
11. Consultation and advice
(1) In carrying out its functions under this Act, the Heritage Council, a
committee or an advisory committee may-
(a) consult with the Trust and any other person or body; and
(b) carry out any investigations it thinks fit; and
(c) prepare, commission the preparation of or adopt any guidelines,
statements of policy, reports, studies and conservation plans it
thinks fit; and
(d) have regard to any information it considers relevant.
(2) The Heritage Council may engage persons with suitable qualifications and
experience as consultants.
(3) An engagement under subsection (2) may be on any terms and conditions that
the Heritage Council considers appropriate.
