2.2.4. Lottery ticket offences



(1) A person must not print a ticket in a lottery.

Penalty: 100 penalty units.

(2) A person must not-

   (a)  sell or dispose of; or

   (b)  offer for sale or disposal; or

   (c)  buy or pay for; or

   (d)  deliver; or

   (e)  give; or

   (f)  knowingly receive; or

   (g)  accept-

a ticket in a lottery. Penalty: 60 penalty units.

(3) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subsection (2)(d)
to prove that there was and is no consideration for the delivery.
