Money invested

1.5. Money invested

A reference in this Act to money or an amount invested whether in a
totalisator or otherwise is taken to refer to money or an amount so invested,
less any amount repayable to the investor by way of a refund whether because
of the cancellation or calling off of a bet or otherwise.
