Application for administration order

43. Application for administration order



(1) Any person may apply to the Tribunal for an order appointing an
administrator in respect of the estate of a person with a disability who has
attained the age of 18 years or to take effect upon the person attaining the
age of 18 years.

(2) Where a person with a disability who has attained the age of 18 years does
not reside in Victoria but has an estate the whole or part of which is in
Victoria, any person may apply to the Tribunal for an order appointing an
administrator in respect of so much of the estate as is in Victoria.

(3) In addition to any other parties, the following are parties to a
proceeding on an application under subsection (1)-

   (a)  the person in respect of whom the application is made; and

   (b)  the person proposed as administrator.
