Application for guardianship order

19. Application for guardianship order



(1) Any person may apply to the Tribunal for an order appointing-

   (a)  a plenary guardian; or

   (b)  a limited guardian-

in respect of a person with a disability who has attained the age of 18 years
or to take effect upon the person attaining the age of 18 years.

(2) In addition to any other parties, the following are parties to a
proceeding on an application under subsection (1)-

   (a)  the person in respect of whom the application is made; and

   (b)  the person proposed as guardian.
