5. Further savings



(1) Nothing in this Part or in any repeal effected by this Act shall affect
the enactments relating to bills of sale contracts of sale followed by
contracts of letting and hiring liens on crops liens on wool stock mortgages
or assignments of book debts or any enactment relating to the sale of goods
which is not expressly repealed by this Act.

(2) The provisions of this Part relating to contracts of sale do not apply to
any transaction in the form of a contract of sale which is intended to operate
by way of mortgage pledge charge or other security.
