How application is to be made

43. How application is to be made



(1) An application for a family violence intervention order must-

   (a)  include the information prescribed by rules made under this Act; and

   (b)  if the applicant is a police officer, be made on oath or by affidavit
        or certified in accordance with subsection (2); or

   (c)  if the applicant is not a police officer, be made on oath or by
        affidavit.

(2) For the purposes of subsection (1)(b), an application certified by a
police officer must-

   (a)  be signed by the police officer; and

   (b)  include the police officer's name, rank and station.
