Court may hear directed person or affected family member

23. Court may hear directed person or affected family member



(1) The court may, if practicable, hear a directed person or an affected
family member on the hearing of an application for a family violence
intervention order against the directed person or an application for an
extension order under section 19, including an application made in accordance
with section 20.

(2) Subsection (1) applies whether or not the directed person is in detention
under this Division.
