Simplification of proof

31. Simplification of proof



In any proceedings for an offence under section 30, evidence that a bid at an
auction was stated to have been made by or on behalf of the person conducting
the auction by an announcement made to the persons present at the auction is
evidence, and in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof of the fact
that the bid was made.
