Giving of information

37. Giving of information



(1) This section applies to-

   (a)  a member of VicFIC; and

   (b)  an employee of VicFIC;

   (c)  a person appointed by VicFIC for the purpose of carrying out duties
        under the fiscal bodies legislation; and

   (d)  a person who has been a person mentioned in paragraph (a), (b) or (c).

(2) A person to whom this section applies may disclose to APRA or ASIC
information the person acquired while engaged in the administration of the
fiscal bodies legislation.

(3) This section applies despite section 47 of the Financial Institutions
(Victoria) Act 1992 and section 410 of the Financial Institutions Code or
section 477 of the Friendly Societies Code.
