Director-General to confer and co-operate where rights etc. of others affected
6. Director-General to confer and co-operate where rights etc. of others
affected
(1) Where the exercise of any rights powers or authorities or the discharge of
any duties by the Director-General pursuant to this Part or the Agreement may
affect the exercise of any rights powers or authorities or the discharge of
any duties by any public statutory body or municipality or by any local
authority within the meaning of the Public Contracts Act 1958 as in force
immediately before the commencement of the Public Contracts (Repeal) Act 1986
the Director-General shall so far as practicable confer and co-operate with
such body municipality or authority.
(2) Any question difference or dispute which-
(a) arises between the Director-General and any such body municipality or
authority with respect to the exercise of any rights powers or
authorities or the discharge of any duties by the Director-General or
by the body municipality or authority; and
(b) affects the rights powers authorities or duties of the
Director-General under this Part or the Agreement-
may be finally and conclusively determined by the Governor in Council.
