Indemnity for owner of goods

40E. Indemnity for owner of goods

The Treasurer may, on behalf of the Government of Victoria, give an indemnity,
on such terms and conditions as the Treasurer determines, to the owner of
goods that are lent for temporary exhibition or are otherwise made available
for a limited period to the State or to a statutory authority or an agency or
instrumentality of the State against such loss or damage to the goods as the
Treasurer determines.
