Issue of money out of Public Account
37. Issue of money out of Public Account
(1) There may be issued out of the Public Account-
(a) money required for payment by the Minister by agreement with or on
account of any other Government;
(b) money required for payment by the Minister to or on account of an
authority or public body-
pending repayment by the Government or authority or public body.
(2) If the Minister so determines, interest must be paid by an authority or
public body on money issued to it under this section-
(a) at such rate or rates calculated on such basis or bases as are
determined by the Minister from time to time; and
(b) when the money is refunded and paid into the Public Account.
