PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purposes

1. Purposes

The purposes of this Act are-

   (a)  to improve financial administration of the public sector;

   (b)  to make better provision for the accountability of the public sector;

   (c)  to provide for annual reporting to the Parliament by departments and
        public sector bodies.
