Futures Industry (Application of Laws) Act 1986 - SCHEDULE 2

Section 6 MODIFICATIONS TO REGULATIONS IN FORCE UNDER THE COMMONWEALTH ACT The
provisions of regulations in force for the time being under the Commonwealth
Act apply as if in those regulations- 1. for "Futures Industry Regulations"
(wherever occurring) there were substituted "Futures Industry (Victoria)
Regulations"; 2. for "the Act" (wherever occurring) there were substituted
"the Code"; 2A. for "this Act" (wherever occurring) there were substituted
"this Code"; 3. for "Futures Industry Act 1986" (wherever occurring) there
were substituted "Futures Industry (Victoria) Code"; 3A. for "Securities
Industry Act 1980" (wherever occurring) there were substituted "Securities
Industry (Victoria) Code"; 4. for "the Territory" (wherever occurring) there
were substituted "Victoria"; 5. for "Bankruptcy Act 1966" (wherever occurring)
there were substituted "Bankruptcy Act 1966 of the Commonwealth"; 6. for
"Companies Act 1981" (wherever occurring) there were substituted "Companies
(Victoria) Code"; 6A. for the words "a State or another Territory" (wherever
occurring) there were substituted the words "a State other than Victoria or in
a Territory"; 6AB. in regulation 37-

   (a)  in paragraph (a) after "1974" there were inserted "of the
        Commonwealth"; and

   (b)  in paragraph (b) after "1973" there were inserted "of the
        Commonwealth"; and

   (c)  in paragraph (c) after "1945" there were inserted "of the
        Commonwealth";

6AC. in regulation 38(1)-

   (a)  for "Companies Regulations" there were substituted "Companies
        (Victoria) Regulations"; and

   (b)  for "that Act" there were substituted "that Code"; 6AD. in regulation
        38(2)(e)(i)(A) after "1987" there were inserted "of the Commonwealth";
        6B. in Form 16 in Schedule 2 for "regulations under the Futures
        Industry Act 1986" there were substituted "the Futures Industry
        (Victoria) Regulations"; 7. in Form 19 in Schedule 2 for "Corporate
        Affairs Commission for the Territory" (where twice occurring) there
        were substituted "Commissioner for Corporate Affairs". _______________
