Futures Industry (Application of Laws) Act 1986 - SECT 1 

PART 1 PRELIMINARY

Purpose

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to make provision for the establishment and
maintenance of futures markets, and the making of futures contracts, in
Victoria, to provide for the licensing of futures brokers and certain other
persons, and for related purposes.
