Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act 1988 - SECT 65

Certificates

65. Certificates



(1) A person may apply to the Secretary for a certificate under this section
for land described in the application.

(2) An application for a certificate must be in writing in the prescribed
form.

(3) As soon as possible after receiving an application for a certificate the
Secretary must give the certificate to the applicant.

(4) A certificate must-

   (a)  be in writing in the prescribed form; and

   (b)  describe the land to which the certificate relates; and

   (c)  state whether, on a date specified in the certificate, an interim
        conservation order was in force in respect of the land.





(5) In proceedings under this Act, a certificate under this section is
evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof of the
facts stated in the certificate.
