16. Minister's decision



(1) After considering the Committee's recommendation and any comments of the
Conservation Advisory Committee and the Victorian Catchment Management Council
the Minister must within 30 days of receiving the Committee's recommendation
decide whether or not to recommend to the Governor in Council that the taxon
or community of flora or fauna or potentially threatening process be added to
or repealed from the Threatened List or the Processes List.

(2) That decision and the reasons for it must be advertised in a newspaper
circulating generally throughout the State and a newspaper circulating
generally in the area likely to be affected by the decision and notice of the
making of the decision must be published in the Government Gazette.
