Meaning of associate

6A. Meaning of associate

For the purposes of this Act, a person is an associate of another person-

   (a)  if the person is able, or will be able, to have a significant
        influence over, or with respect to, the management or operation of the
        fundraising activities of the other person; or

   (b)  in the case of another person that is a body corporate, if the person
        is a director, secretary or manager of the other person.
