Power to serve a notice

61D. Power to serve a notice





(1) An authorised officer may, in accordance with the Infringements Act 2006,
serve an infringement notice on any person that he or she has reason to
believe has committed an offence against a provision of this Act that is
specified in the Schedule.

(2) An offence referred to in subsection (1) for which an infringement notice
may be served is an infringement offence within the meaning of the
Infringements Act 2006.".

(3) The infringement penalty for an alleged offence referred to in subsection
(1) is the amount prescribed in respect of that offence.
