Deemed registration if no response within 21 days

21. Deemed registration if no response within 21 days



(1) The Director is deemed to register a person as a fundraiser if-

   (a)  the person applied to be registered as a fundraiser in accordance with
        this Division; and

   (b)  the Director does not, within 21 days after receiving that
        application, seek further information under section 18D(1) or refuse
        to register the person as a fundraiser.

(2) The Director is also deemed to register a person as a fundraiser if-

   (a)  the person applied to be registered as a fundraiser in accordance with
        this Division; and

   (b)  the Director seeks further information from the person under section
        18D(1); and

   (c)  the person gives the Director the further information sought by the
        Director; and

   (d)  the Director does not, within 14 days after receiving that
        information, give the person notice of any action taken by the
        Director under section 18D(2) or 19.
